3A2-5 This is an encapsulated hypervascular tumor composed of nests of epithelioid cells with moderate quantities of eosinophilic cytoplasm. The nuclei are relatively monomorphic with oval contours and salt and pepper chromatin. Some of the vessels are hyalinized and there are occasional perivascular nuclear free zones, suggestive of perivascular pseudo-rosettes. Mitotic figures are very infrequent and there is no evidence of tumor necrosis.
