Case 5 History ---- The patient was a 59-year-old man who presented with progressive lower extremity deficit and on imaging was found to have an intradural extramedullary tumor (~2.9 cm and post-contrast enhancing) at level L3-4. Operative procedure: L3-4 lumbar laminectomy and decompression, resection of tumor using intraoperative microscope. ---- 5A1,2 The gross specimen is red brown, nodular and encapsulated.
