Case 6 History ---- The patient is an active, 50-year-old woman. She had a two month history of uncharacteristic left buttock and pelvic pain during exercise. The pain gradually worsened, was nonresponsive to chiropractic and physical therapy, and she was eventually diagnosed with an intradural extramedullary tumor in the L3-4 region by MRI. Operative procedure: L3-L4 laminectomy and resection of tumor. ---- 6A1-4 MRI Studies: 6A1 This TIRM scan shows a mass at L3-4 which is isodense with the spinal cord.
