Case 7 History ---- The patient was a 66 year old man who presented with primarily back and leg pain and was found to have an intradural extramedullary mass at L5. Operative procedure: Posterior lumbar laminectomies for resection of intradural extramedullary mass with use of intraoperative microscope and ultrasound. ----- 7A1-3 MRI Studies: 7A1 A discrete distal mass in the cauda equina is isointense to the spinal cord.
