Case 1 History ---- The patient is a 23yo female with a one year history of migraine headaches and recent syncopal spells. Imaging studies revealed a non-enhancing mass involving the third ventricle. ---- 1A1-5 MRI in 12/2008 showed a 3 x 1.2 x 1.4 cm exophytic, intra-axial, enhancing mass emanating from the medial wall of the right thalamus, extending into the posterior portion of the third ventricle. MRI studies from 11/2016 and 01/2017 showed little if any change in the lesion(s), reporting no evidence of diffusion restriction, some cystic qualities, and only mild peripheral enhancement (less enhancement than was reported in 2008). ---- A FLAIR examination shows a hyperintense lesion location within the 3rd ventricle.
