There are numerous rosetted structures, including those resembling perivascular pseudorosettes and neurocytic rosettes with central neuropil formation. The tumor cells surrounding both structures resemble neurocytes and contain round uniform nuclei with inconspicuous nucleoli, and frequent clear perinuclear halos. (H&E)
