Washington University Experience | NEOPLASMS (NEURONAL) | Rosette-Forming Glioneuronal Tumor (RGNT) | 3C1 RGNT (Case 3) GFAP 1
3C1-3 The glial part of this neoplasm is strongly GFAP-immunoreactive. The glial component is composed of round to oval, oligodendroglial-like cells with perinuclear halos and occasional eosinophilic processes. Mitotic figures are hard to find and there is no necrosis or microvascular proliferation. No definite Rosenthal fibers or eosinophilic granular bodies are seen. (GFAP IHC)
