5A2-7 Additionally, there is a minor component of neuronal elements with small neurocytic rosettes. Focally, there is abundance of Rosenthal fibers along-with rare eosinophilic granular bodies. The tumor cells in the neurocytic component have round uniform nuclei with prominent rosetted architecture mostly around a central neuropil core or focally in a perivascular distribution. Mitoses are difficult to find. (H&E)
