Case 6 History ---- The patient is a 4 month old male with a 2 day history of "fussiness", sleepiness and abnormal eye gaze. The parents describe his eyes as more widely open and down gazing than usual. Physical examination is suggestive of increased head circumference but still proportionate to weight and length. Tone appears decreased in the legs more proximally. Imaging reveals a solid enhancing 2.6 x 2.2 x .6 cm lesion within the left lateral ventricular atrium. Hydrocephalus is moderate to severe and there is concomitant severe thinning of the corpus callosum. Also, findings are suggestive of increased CSF production and a thin subacute left subdural hemorrhage.
