Case 8 History ---- The patient is a 19-month-old girl with a large (~ 6 cm spherical), solidly enhancing mass centered In the left parietal-occipital region with central areas of necrosis and foci of calcification as well as diffusion restriction. Surrounding this mass is a large. multilobulated cystic structure with slightly different signal characteristics than the remainder of the cerebrospinal fluid. ---- 8A1,2 MRI examination demonstrated a large T1-weighted multilobulated mass with contrast enhancement.
