Case 15 History – Atypical CPP ---- The patient is a 36 year old man with a history of hypertension, gastroesophageal reflux disease, morbid obesity, and a newly diagnosed right cerebellopontine angle mass. He has had two months of headaches and some dizziness as well as some decreased hearing of the right ear, although he has had no facial weakness or numbness in his arms and legs. He has had occasional double vision while reading. MRI scan demonstrated a 3.9 cm in diameter right cerebellopontine angle mass, suggestive of 8th or other cranial nerve schwannoma or meningioma.
