Higher magnification of image #5D1 (Transthyretin IHC) ---- Immunohistochemistry (not shown): The tumor is be strongly and diffusely positive for vimentin. A large subset of the tumor is strongly positive for CAM5.2. The proliferation marker Ki67 stains a very low number of tumor cells (less than 1%). The tumor is negative for glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP), pan-cytokeratin AE1/AE3 (CK), cytokeratin 20 (CK20), and D2-40 (podoplanin).
