Case 6 History ---- The patient was a 24-year-old man who presented with some sinonasal symptoms that prompted imaging. Brain MRI showed a 4.5 cm post-contrast enhancing fourth ventricular mass without diffusion restriction in addition to multiple non-enhancing cystic structures throughout the brain. Operative procedure: Resection of mass and one cyst. ---- 6A1-5 The neoplasm and unusual cysts are well seen in the IV ventricle using this series of scans. ---- 6A1The ventricular lesion is hyperintense in comparison to the adjacent brain with the exception of multiple cysts which are significantly hypointense. Many of the cysts are superficial in the scan and in others.
