6B2-4 The histopathology is composed of cuboidal to columnar epithelium surrounding fibrovascular cores. There are scattered calcifications. The tumor has a few small areas with a solid-growth pattern where the papillary architecture is disrupted, but this is a very minor component. There is no necrosis or significant hypercellularity. The tumor cells lack cellular pleomorphism. Mitotic figures are infrequently found at less than 1 mitosis per 10 consecutive high powered [40x objective] fields.
