8A1 Choroid Plexus Papilloma (Case 8)
Case 8 History ---- The patient is a 22-month-old male who had a head CT to investigate trauma after he fell. Head CT revealed an unsuspected intraventricular tumor. An MRI was obtained which confirmed a large intraventricular tumor. ---- 8A1 The tumor is composed of delicate papillary fronds covered by a single layer of columnar epithelium as well as some hydropic appearing fronds with vacuolation of the stroma. There is no nuclear atypia and there is no mitotic activity.
