Permanent sections showed mostly fragments of reactive brain and blood, with a few scattered areas of small tumor clusters. The tumor cells are large with atypical nuclei showing prominent nucleoli. There are many small lymphocytes clustered near the large atypical cells. Mitoses were occasional.
