Sections of the suprasellar mass show a malignant neoplasm composed of abundant pale eosinophilic to vacuolated cytoplasm, vesicular nuclei, and macro-nucleoli. Mitotic figures are common, and karyorrhectic debris is numerous. Hemosiderin deposition is also present focally.
