Sections of the biopsied suprasellar lesion show nests of tumor cells separated by thin fibrovascular septae containing mature lymphocytes. Cytologically tumor cells are large and polygonal with high nuclear-cytoplasmic ratio, multiple irregular prominent nucleoli, and cytoplasmic clearing. Mitoses are frequent.
