Case 7 History ---- The patient is a 59 year old man who presented with headache and acute mental status change. Brain MRI showed an enhancing mass in the posterior 3rd ventricle/pineal area. ---- 7A There are only two fragments of a neoplasm arranged in sheets. The tumor cells are monotonous with abundant eosinophilic cytoplasm, bland, round nuclei and pale to finely granular chromatin pattern. Several mitotic figures are noted. No necrosis is identified.
