Scattered tumor cells are slightly immunoreactive for synaptophysin. ---- Ancillary data (not shown): A chromogranin stain is negative. A stain for Ki-67 reveals a focally elevated labeling index. This tumor was diagnosed as PTPR Grade 2-3 because of the worrisome features. The subsequent course of this patient has been lost to us.
