2B1,2 This H&E-stained section shows variable differentiated histology including areas of pigmented cells, cartilage, and neuroglial areas including both small neurocytic cells and large ganglionic forms (arrow, 2B2). These variable areas of histology are intermixed with no obvious normal brain or pineal parenchyma.
