Case 10 History ---- The patient is a 19 year old man diagnosed with a pineal tumor. He is status post VP shunt. Clinical diagnosis: Pineal tumor: ---- 10A1-4 The neoplasm consists of sheets of small round cells with substantial nuclear molding and scattered rosettes of the Homer-Wright type and pseudorosettes lining small vessels. The neoplasm shows brisk mitotic activity, scattered apoptotic figures, and focal areas of zonal necrosis.
