3B-D images are from the original 2010 resection. ---- 3B1,2 The neoplasm is composed of a patternless sheet of densely packed small cells. Their nuclei range from being irregular in shape to round. Tumor cell nuclei have dense chromatin and some have a speckled appearance. There are numerous mitoses throughout the specimen and apoptotic cells are frequently seen.
