Case 11 History ---- The patient is a 59-year-old woman with a history of multiple syncopal episodes that increased in frequency over the 2-3 years. Brain MRI shows a peripherally enhancing, FLAIR hyperintense, 2.3 cm mass arising from the pineal gland and resulting in obstructive hydrocephalus. Operative procedure: Endoscopic biopsy of pineal mass with ventriculoperitoneal shunt placement.----
