This section shows a tumor with moderate cellularity and delicate connective tissue stroma. Perivascular rosettes are frequently seen and pineocytomatous rosettes are prominent. Some cystic areas filled with pale eosinophilic granular material are seen in the background. The nuclei of the tumor cells are uniform with dusky nucleoplasm and coarse chromatin granules. Mitotic figures are not seen, and nucleoli are not prominent. (H&E)
