2B3-5 Sections of the brain biopsy show a cellular neoplasm composed of cells with uniform, small, round to oval nuclei, inconspicuous nucleoli and moderate amount of homogenous eosinophilic cytoplasm arranged in sheets and forming large rosettes with fine fibrillary processes in the center (pineocytomatous rosettes). Mitoses are hard to find. There is no necrosis.
