Case 4 History ---- The patient is a 35 year old right-handed woman with a 3 month history of depression and headaches. On examination she had papilledema. Imaging studies showed hydrocephalus, and an enhancing mass in the pineal region. Clinical diagnosis: Rule out pineoblastoma and other pineal region tumors. Operative procedure: Endoscopic biopsy of the pineal region mass. ---- 4A1,2 This T1-weighted image shows slight hyperintensity without contrast (4A1) and prominent enhancement with contrast (4A2).
