Case 10 History ---- [81yo male with Alzheimer disease] ---- This pituitary was initially thought to represent basophil invasion but further analysis suggests possibly a more complex process. Although no ACTH immunohistochemical studies were performed, I have decided to include this case in the corticotroph adenoma group because it is clearly a basophil dominated process.
