A negative immunohistology stain shows pale patchy islands of Crooke’s hyaline. ---- Not shown: Tumor cells are focally immunoreactive for GH and prolactin. Scattered rare tumor cells are positive with FSH and LH. The Ki-i67 is very low (<1%). ---- Comment: The overall morphological and immunohistochemical findings are consistent with a corticotrophic pituitary adenoma.
