To better understand these tumors a Pituitary Transcription Factor-1 (Pit-1) was performed. Pit-1 is necessary for the differentiation and maintenance of PRL, GH and TSH. Steroidogenic factor -1 (SF-1) is involved in FSH development and function. ---- 1H1 This whole mount demonstrates immunolabeling of two of the microadenomas for the transcription factor Pit-1.
