Case 5 History ---- [77yo female with a 2.3 x 2.3 cm pituitary mass and no hormonal clinical profile.] ---- 5A1-3 The tumor cells in this case have a striking biphasic appearance. One group of cells have oval nuclei, speckled chromatin, a high N/C ratio and no evidence of mitotic activity. The second type of cell are much larger with moderate amounts of eosinophilic cytoplasm and are arranged in nodules.
