The tumor cells in this case have a striking biphasic appearance. One group of cells have oval nuclei, speckled chromatin, a high N/C ratio and no evidence of mitotic activity. The second type of cell are much larger with moderate amounts of eosinophilic cytoplasm and are arranged in nodules.
