Case 6 History ---- [48yo male with acromegaly and a history of scalp lymphoma and calcium oxalate kidney stones. MRI showed a 3.6 x 6.6 mm nodule with delayed contrast enhancement in the right pituitary. Clinical diagnosis: Pituitary microadenoma.] ---- 6A1-4 The specimen consists of sheets of epithelioid cells with variably eosinophilic, basophilic or clear cytoplasm, lacking the normal acinar architecture of the anterior pituitary. Mitotic figures are not identified. (H&E)
