The second major histological pattern (neuronal transformation, 8A1, arrow,) is contributed almost entirely by one fragment that represents approximately one-tenth of the sampled tissue. This fragment shows few of the elements described above; instead, it is dominated by a broad web of pale tumor neuropil, interrupted by abundant dysmorphic, ganglion cells of variable size.
