8B1,2 This is a malignant neoplasm composed of sheets of pleomorphic cells with atypical, often large and bizarre and/or multiple, hyperchromatic nuclei, vesicular chromatin, prominent nucleoli, amphophilic to eosinophilic cytoplasm, and generally poor intercellular demarcation. The tumor cell morphology ranges from spindled to epithelioid. Mitotic figures appear at high density, with several present in most high power fields, and many are atypical.
