Case 9 History ---- The patient is a 25 year old woman with history of NF1 and a retroperitoneal mass. Operative procedure: Retroperitoneal mass excision and laminectomy with C1-2 fusion. ---- 9A1-3 The nerves of this neurosurgical specimen appears caught up in a neoplastic mass. The cut section shows foci of hemorrhage and necrosis.
