The three neurospecimens all show a plexiform neurofibroma. There are multiple nerve bundles showing large variation in shape and size. The bundles are haphazardly arranged and contain abundant amounts of mucin. The nerve bundles are separated by large amounts of connective tissue consisting of mature adipose tissue, fibrous tissue, and multiple small to medium sized vessels.
