Case 16 (No History, all Electron Micrographs) ---- The neurofibroma is composed of a population of nerve sheath tumor cells. The constituent cells are either Schwann cells or their processes, identified by their basal laminae, or various poorly identified non-Schwannian cell types. 16A1-3 Numerous neoplastic Schwann cells and their processes are recognized by their basal laminae.
