1B1,2 Sections show a well differentiated spindle cell neoplasm causing significant expansion of the nerve fascicle. The tumor cells have wavy, elongated nuclei, scant eosinophilic cytoplasm, and thin processes. There is a myxoid background. Entrapped ganglion cells are appreciated focally. There is no significant mitotic activity.
