Case 4 History ---- The patient is an eight-year-old girl with a history of right sciatic nerve neuropathy. She also has a history of attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD), but no history of developmental delay. Hb1C levels are normal. Operative procedure: Biopsy of right peroneal component of sciatic nerve with nerve allograft reconstruction. ---- 4A1-3 H&E sections of the right sciatic nerve show hypercellular nerve fascicles with pseudo-onion bulbs formed by ovoid to spindled cells that have eosinophilic cytoplasm, indistinct cellular borders and oval nuclei. There are occasional, scattered, chronic inflammatory cells.
