6A2-5 Pseudo-onion bulb formation is seen within the majority of the fascicles and consists of multilayered cuffs of spindled perineurial cells surrounding individual or groups of axons or large collections of collagen lacking axons entirely. The perineurial cells are thin, spindled cells with oval to elongated nuclei and inconspicuous nucleoli. Cytologic atypia and mitotic figures are not seen.
