Case 9 History ---- The patient is an 8-year-old boy with progressive right foot weakness. Electrophysiology showed a severe right common peroneal neuropathy and ultrasound identified an intraneural tumor. Operative procedure: Right peroneal nerve biopsy 9A1,2 Multiple fascicles contain numerous variably sized whorled structures within the nerve, composed of a concentric population of spindle cells and collagen fibers forming pseudo-onion bulbs.
