Case 11 History ---- The patient is a 74-year-old man with a thoracolumbar intradural tumor. Operative procedure: Tumor resection ---- 11A1-3 This is an encapsulated spindle cell lesion composed of variably cellular areas ranging from hypo-to hypercellular. The neoplastic cells are bland without significant atypia. Verocay bodies are identified focally. There are abundant hyalinized vessels. Areas of cystic degeneration are also noted.
