Case 13 History ---- The patient is a 46-year-old woman with neurofibromatosis 2, who has undergone many different tumor resections over nearly 30 years. MRI revealed innumerable enhancing extra-axial dural based masses, diffuse pachymeningeal thickening and enhancement, and a dominant 3.7 cm parafalcine frontal lesion. Among many other lesions, an enhancing left parietal scalp lesion is also present. Operative procedure: Stealth guided bifrontal craniotomy for resection of multiple tumors. The findings from several dural lesions are diagnostic of atypical meningioma, WHO grade 2 and meningioma, WHO grade 1. ---- 13A1-3 All three T1-weighted contrast applied MRI scans show the marked intracranial pathology in this NF2 patient.
