Case 18 History ---- The patient is a 35-year-old woman who presents with several years of back pain radiating down into her hips bilaterally. Spinal cord MRI reportedly shows an intradural post-contrast enhancing mass in the L1-L2 region. Operative procedure: Lumbar laminectomy at L1 to L2 for resection of intradural mass. ---- 18A The neurosurgical specimen shows a variegated pattern with scattered microcysts.
