1) Multiple Cases – Gross Pathology ---- Individual histories are not given for each of the following Schwannomas. As a group, cases have presented clinically with the loss or diminished function of the cranial and spinal nerves they arise from or compression of the underlying brainstem or spinal cord. ---- 1A1,2 Typical 8th nerve schwannoma (usually vestibular branch) which has compressed the adjacent cerebellum and pons.
