Case 26 History ---- The patient is a 14 year old boy with prior surgical resection of a right cerebellopontine angle mass. ---- 26A1-5 The specimen consists of two spindle cell neoplasms. The first (arrow, 26A2) is made up of bland meningothelial cells arranged in a fascicular pattern with a focal hint of whorling and some intervening collagen deposition. This part of the tumor contains numerous psammoma bodies. Mitoses are difficult to find.
