Case 17 History ---- The patient was a five year old boy with 30 radiolucent lesions in his lower extremities and left frontal bone, with adjacent soft tissue involvement. Clinical diagnosis: Langerhans cell histiocytosis. Operative procedure: Craniotomy. ---- 17A1 An intraoperative smear shows Langerhans cells as well as multinucleated reactive cells. (H&E)
