Case 21 History ---- The patient was a 15 year-old male with a right scalp lesion who underwent biopsy of the lesion. MRI following biopsy shows a right parietal calvarial lesion with post biopsy changes and mild reactive changes of underlying meninges at that site. ---- 21A1,2 H&E stained slides show a histiocytic lesion composed of large rounded cells with indistinct cell membrane and lobulated/enfolded nuclei, within an inflammatory background that is composed of lymphocytes and numerous eosinophils.
