Case 2 History ---- The patient was a 9-year-old boy with a spinal T4 tumor. Operative procedure: Posterior spinal fusion and T4 vertebrectomy. ---- 2A1-3 The specimen consists of bony trabeculae and sheets of Langerhans histiocytic cells admixed with numerous eosinophils. The Langerhans histiocytic cells appear bland, have pale eosinophilic cytoplasm and contain vesicular nuclei with focally prominent intranuclear grooves.
